Sealed bids will be received by the Owner, CRAVEN COUNTY, at 406 CRAVEN STREET, NEW BERN, NC 28560 in the County Administration Building’s Elections One Stop/Training Room, 1st Floor, until 2:00 PM, EST, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, for the construction of CRAVEN COUNTY WATER DEPARTMENT LAWSON CREEK BOOSTER STATION REPLACEMENT. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as BID for construction of Craven County Water Department Lawson Creek Booster Station Replacement. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work will be located on the Lawson Creek Park property at the address of 1309 Country Club Rd, New Bern, NC 28560 and will consist of the construction of; · Ductile iron water main, valves and appurtenances · Packaged Prefabricated Booster Pump Station and Standby Generator · Site work including fencing, grading and landscaping · Electrical Modifications A Pre-Bid conference will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. EST, on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the County Administration Building’s Elections One Stop/Training Room, 1st Floor, at 406 Craven Street, New Bern, NC 28560. The pre-bid conference will be streamed live for those who are unable to attend in-person. NOTICE: 1. Two bid submittals were received at the scheduled bid opening at 2:00 pm on April 12, 2022. Because three bids were not received, the two bid submittals were returned unopened to the bidders. 2. A new bid opening has been scheduled for April 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm EST. The bids will be opened, regardless of the number of bids received. The bid opening will be conducted at the County Administration Building at 406 Craven Street, New Bern, NC 28560 in the Commissioners Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor.
