Scope of work	Sealed proposals will be received from qualified bidders by Davidson County Purchasing Department in the Support Services Office, located at 925 North Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292 up to 2: 00 PM on Tuesday, November 10' 1' 2026, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, materials and equipment for HVAC Renovation on Colonial Drive building, 211 West Colonial Drive, Thomasville, NC 27292. The Project includes the following as indicated on the drawings: Mechanical Contractor to act as General Contractor for this HVAC renovation project. HVAC Renovation Base Bid includes New Control System for existing System of FCU and AHUs. Note that Mechanical Contractor is required to subcontract a Licensed Electrical Contractor for all required Electrical Work. Note: Replacement of the remaining Mechanical equipment( FCU, AHU, etc.) if indicated on Mechanical Drawings is work to be done in the Future and not part of this project After Monday, October 26th 2026, complete plans, specifications, and contract documents will be available for inspection on the Architect' s office and their website at rbsarch. com under the" Bidding Projects" tab or in the following offices: RAMSAY BURGIN SMITH ARCHITECTS, INC., 225 N. Main Street, Suite 501, Salisbury, NC; DAVIDSON COUNTY PURCHASING DEPT, 925 North Main Street, Lexington, NC, DODGE PLAN ROOM, AGC PLAN ROOM; REEDS CONSTRUCTION DATA, METROLINA MINORITY CONTRACTORS RESOURCE CENTER, Charlotte, NC. A Pre- Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, beginning at 9: 00 A.M. at the Colonial Drive Building, 211 West Colonial Dr., Thomasville, NC 27292 to allow contractors the opportunity to ask questions and/ or clarify pertinent issues. Attendance is highly recommended for project clarity.
