Scope of work	Duplin County has received funding for the purpose of improving infrastructure within the County. Additionally, Duplin County routinely requires the services of a talented and capable North Carolina Licensed Engineering Firm for other projects. Duplin County is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified professional engineering firms to provide design, bidding, and limited construction-phase services for a proposed Maintenance Facility. The selected firm will prepare the design plans, specifications, construction cost estimate, and bid documents needed for the County to solicit construction bids. The project is anticipated to include a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) and the features described in this RFQ. During bidding and construction, the firm will provide the additional services described in the Scope of Work, which may include bid-tabulation assistance, periodic site visits, construction-meeting attendance, and review of contractor pay applications and change-order requests with recommendations to the County. The County will retain responsibility for awarding the construction contract and approving payments and change orders.
