Scope of work	Please see the attached bid package #2023-002 with full specification details, requirements, and submittal instructions, and deadlines. A public bid opening will be held immediately after deadline at Gaston County Department of Health & Human Services – Social Services Division in Room 4013 (4 th Floor). The address is 330 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Gastonia, NC 28052. This project will support an ongoing collaborative street outreach initiative. The initiative offers a mobile one-stop-shop for unhoused and low-income populations to access social services, healthcare, housing, behavioral health, and other supportive services. It is organized by a collaborative network of nonprofit, government, and faith-based organizations who specialize in providing these services to homeless and low-income populations. There is a demand to host the one-stop-shop at locations across Gaston County, especially in disadvantaged communities or isolated encampments which have difficulty in securing transportation to access services. Specifically, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will be used to purchase (1) mobile shower facilities trailer and (1) mobile laundry facilities trailer for the mobile one-stop-shop. This equipment will be used to offer immediate relief and mobile hygiene services to unhoused populations. This aligns with the best-practice health equity approach.
