Scope of work	The Gaston County Sheriff’s Office requests proposals to provide comprehensive inmate healthcare services at the Gaston County Jail & Annex. This service would provide 24 hour per day, on-site, medical care to inmates housed at the Jail and Annex. The main jail has over 160,000 square feet and a total bed count of approximately 488. The main jail consists of eight (8) housing blocks and a medical unit. The Jail Annex has 24,740 square feet and a total bed count of approximately 176. The annex has eight (8) dorms with 20 beds each and 16 single cells that are used for special watches and mental health issues.
