Scope of work	Gaston County purchased approximately 14 acres of vacant land with a vision to transform it into a Public Safety Campus that will allow The Office of Emergency Management & Fire Services, EOC, 911 Communications, GEMS and Gaston County Police to improve customer service, security, safety, accessibility and reduce maintenance and operational costs of the existing facilities. The project delivery method for the Project has not been determined at the time of announcing this RFQ for Programming Services. The County will be considering alternative Project Delivery Methods for future phases of this Project, including Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk, as well as the traditional Design-Bid-Build method. The Architect selected to perform Programming will be eligible to submit for future work on the Project. The County may also contract with the selected Architect to provide future services at the completion of Programming, at the County’s sole discretion. The selected Firm will enter into a Professional Services Agreement with the County.
