Scope of work	Pursuant to G. S. 143-61/31 Halifax County (the County) announces its intent to secure the services of a qualified design/engineering firm for professional architectural and design services for the Joseph Montfort Amphitheater, a small <1,000 seat amphitheater located in Halifax, NC. The scope of work includes the design and permitting of the facility in accordance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) codes. The design must also be approved by the North Carolina Natural and Cultural Resources and the North Carolina State Construction Office. The County currently leases the land from North Carolina (the State) with the intention of renovating and using the amphitheater for various outdoor events (see Appendix 1).
