Scope of work	County of Moore (Owner) 5227 US-15/501, Carthage, NC 28327 Interceptor Replacement, Phase 2 Project / Bid Number: IFB 2024-01 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Interceptor Replacement, Phase 2 (IFB 2024-01) project will be received on the 2nd Floor at the Moore County Historic Courthouse, Attention: Terra Vuncannon, located at 1 Courthouse Square, Carthage, NC 28327, until 4:00 pm local time on Thursday, August 10th, 2023 , at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. For your convenience, a Bid Drop-Off box is located in the lobby at 1 Courthouse Square, Carthage, NC 28327 (Historic Courthouse). The Project consists of the installation of approximately 3,700 feet of 30” PVC / DIP gravity sewer, 120 feet of PVC gravity sewer, and all associated manholes to replace the existing 24” gravity sewer interceptor located near the Pinehurst #7 Golf Course. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: LKC Engineering, PLLC, located at 140 Aqua Shed Court, Aberdeen, NC 28315, 910-420-1437. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Carolinas AGC (plans available at CAGC on IBuild), FW Dodge/McGraw Hill Dodge, Minority Economic Development Center: Charlotte, Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas: Charlotte; the office of the Moore County Public Works, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm; and the office of the Engineer, LKC Engineering, PLLC, located at 140 Aqua Shed Court, Aberdeen NC 28315, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $150.00, including shipping. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $150.00 per set, which includes shipping, payable to LKC Engineering. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent to the Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
