Scope of work	April 19, 2024 Richmond County Government is seeking bids for Operations of our County Owned Animal Shelter facility located at 529 W US Highway 74 in Rockingham, NC. The Operator of the Animal Shelter shall be responsible for: All Operations of the facility, not limited to but to include: •Staffing, equipment, compliance with state, federal and local animal welfare regulations, public relations, and extensive documentation •Constant contact with Animal Control Officers •Obtain and maintain necessary licenses(s) registrations, etc. to maintain and operate a NC public animal shelter through North Carolina Department of Agriculture, etc. required to shelter operation, provide rabies vaccinations, provide Euthanasia, etc. •Ensure Veterinarian services are provided, as needed, to care for animals •Responsible for coordination of all adoption of animals •Constant contact with General Public •Constant Contact with Animal Rescue Agencies •Constant contact with Volunteers •Regular meeting with County Manager, or his/her designee •Must meet requirements of NC General Statute 132 regarding Public Records Law •Provide Weekly Report to County For any other questions, please contact Dr. Tommy Jarrell at document.write('tommy.jarrell'+'@'+'richmondnc.com') For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address.
