Scope of work	No-Till Drill Sealed Bid offer Richmond County Government is offering for sale two no-till drills through a sealed bid process. The open bid period is from Wednesday, May 15 until Friday, June 7 st , at 5 pm. Details for the John Deere 750 and Truax are below. Both drills are currently housed at the Sandhills AGInnovation Center, 1298 Crawford Road, Ellerbe, and may be visual inspected on site. Drills are being sold “as is” and no guarantees of functionality are conveyed or implied. The county retains the option to decline to accept any bid. Mail bids to: NC Cooperative Extension, Richmond County Center, P.O. Box 1358, Rockingham, NC 27380 (mark envelope “SEALED BID” under address) or hand deliver to the Extension office at 123 Caroline Street, Rockingham, in a sealed envelope, marked “SEALED BID”. Bids MUST be received at the Extension office by Friday, June 7, by 5pm, whether hand delivered or mailed. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids will be opened Monday, June 10, at 9 am at the Extension office. Payment of the winning bids must be made by certified check by Thursday, June 13, by 5:00 pm. Checks should be made out to Richmond County Government delivered to the Extension office. Failure to meet the payment deadline will result in the withdrawal of the award to the winning bid.
