This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for qualified vendors to furnish and install equipment, accessories, hardware, software, labor, training, and materials for a turnkey VoIP/NG E-9-1-1 system with Statistical Data features or package for the primary and backup PSAP locations. The system must be compatible with Southern Software’s CAD. The proposed system will be installed in the Primary Public Safety Answering Point located in the Sheriff’s 911 center in Yadkinville, NC and the Backup PSAP located 1 mile away at 624 W Main St, Yadkinville, NC. The locations will be connected by 1 of 2 methods, either a single mode dark fiber pair or a 20 MB circuit via Century Link. The dark fiber is preferred and we pending approval via the 911 Board. NOTE: The vendor is NOT responsible for providing the circuit, only the connection to the circuit.
