Proposals for the provision of In-Home Aide Services (Levels I, II, and III) for older adults in Yadkin County for State Fiscal Year 2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) will be received by Yadkin County until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026. These services are funded through the Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG). The Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging will serve as the administrative agent and all proposals will be reviewed by the Yadkin County Aging Planning Committee. The Request for Service Proposal package will be available after 12:00pm (noon) on Monday, March 23, 2026. The package may be picked up at the County Manager’s Office, Human Services Building, obtained on the county’s website (www.yadkincountync.gov) or you may call 336-849-7911. A recommended HCCBG Request for Service Proposal requirements session will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2025 at the Human Resources Building in the Board of Commissioners room. Yadkin County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any or all formalities. Current unit costs and seniors served for In-Home Services according to Adrienne Calhoun with the Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging are: Level I: $23.5008 Level II: $25.5035 Level III: $30.0019 In addition, the Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging states that there is currently $86,211 available In Home and Community Care Block Grant Funds with a required 10% local match of $8,621.10, this is current year funding (FY2026). Funding is subject to change depending upon availability of federal and state dollars.
